Το Διάσημο του Τάγματος Τιμής της Ιταλικής Δημοκρατίας “Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia” απονεμήθηκε στον κύριο Δημήτριο Μανιατάκη και στην κυρία Ελένη Ταγωνίδη-Μανιατάκη, Πρόεδρο και Αντιπρόεδρο του Μανιατακείου Ιδρύματος, από την Πρέσβειρα της Πρεσβείας στην Ελλάδα, κυρία Patrizia Falcinelli, την Τρίτη 19 Οκτωβρίου.
Η τιμή απονέμεται από τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας της Ιταλίας, μετά από πρόταση του Υπουργού Εξωτερικών, σε συνέχεια διαβούλευσης με το Συμβούλιο του Τάγματος. Το

On Saturday, May 7, 2016 the Maniatakeion Foundation presented in Koroni Dr. Yannis Biris’ book ”The Fortress of Koroni: A Touring and Historical Search”.
The writer Yannis Biris accurately explained the difference between a fortress and a castle. He pointed out that, as the terms are somewhat similar, they are often used synonymously.
